| This boar was caught September 11, 2004 on the ranch that I work for in Blanco Oklahoma. There had been many hoghunters that had bayed this big boar but none of them could ever hold him long enough to send in the catch dogs. I seen some hog sign one day while out looking at the cows so I hurried home and got my wife and we loaded the dogs on the 4-wheelers and headed in that direction. It didn't take my dogs long to find him but it took us 3 hours to get him shut down. They were able to hold him long enough so that we could send in our 2 catch dogs. He was one mean boar. All of our dogs had cuts, gashes and puncture wounds but they never gave up and they got the job done for us!!! He weighed in at over 400#'s. Saddly to say, he stroked out on us before we could get him home. | ||||||||||
