My name is Tori Talamonti. I am currently a sophomore at the Woodlands
High School McCullough Campus. I plan on
applying for Rice and
I am an active and dedicated person, especially in an area
or activity I feel strongly about. I work hard to get things done, but I do
enjoy relaxing and having fun. I believe
I am strongest in the sciences and that I can communicate well through my
writing. I care for the well-being of
others and usually enjoy working with others instead of alone. I decided upon a career in medicine nearly a
year ago. I am thinking about pediatrics
and maybe cardiology. Since then, I have
begun editing my school schedule so as to include extra math and science
classes. I take nearly every class at the highest possible level that is
available to me, and I dedicate a large portion of my time to those
courses. I am also in the school choir,
as I have been since fourth grade. I
plan to stay in choir through high school and even in college, if
possible. At church, I was nominated to
be a part of the A/V Worship Team in my freshman year, where I have been
trained by a professional, and I have worked many hours putting my skills to
use. I plan to remain there until the
end of my high school career. Through my
