| Continental Divide and Rocky Mountain hikes | The Continental Divide Trail north of Grand Lake is shared by horses which means horse flies. The trail is right next to a marshy area which means tons of mosquitoes. I happen to throw this bug net in at the last minute and glad I did! Not one bite! | |||||||||||||||||||

| They used to recommend attaching the rope to the tree trunk but as of this trip, they were saying to counterbalance two bags at least 5 feet from the tree. (see below) Now they are saying a titanium bear canister. I bought one and will test it out. | ||||||||||||||||||||
