| Ribbon Falls: This is sort of like a stelagmite in a cave except without the cave. Minerals in the water have built up over centuries. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Water that filtered through sandstone hit a water resistant shale layer, flowed along that layer and was bubbling up in the North Kaibab Trail. | ||||||||||||||||||
