Hike to Ribbon Falls
snowing at the north rim
North Kaibab Trail and stream. It was raining off and on all the time which explains the pancho.
Ribbon Falls: This is sort of like a stelagmite in a cave except without the cave. Minerals in the water have built up over centuries.
Water that filtered through sandstone hit a water resistant shale layer, flowed along that layer and was bubbling up in the North Kaibab Trail.
Rob and I ate lunch behind Ribbon Falls which was pretty cool.
