Bearly humorous
Stay calm!  staaaaaaaay caaaaaaalm!
This grizzly bear is just being curious. Never ....ever run from a bear! A bear is like a cat and a mouse. If the mouse runs, the cat will instictively chase and pounce. If the mouse just stays still, the cat will not know what to do.
THIRD ONE
A bear hunter was climbing a steep hill. Just as he got to the top, he found himself face to face with an angry bear! He was so startled that he tumbled back down the hill and lost his rifle on the way. When he landed, he realized that he was helpless to do anything as he had broken his leg too!

The angry bear was charging down the hill and was now just a few feet from him when the man thought of an idea! He prayed "Lord, please turn this angry bear into a Christian bear!"

Just at that moment, the bear screeched to a halt, fell to its knees, put its paws together, looked up and said... "Lord, thank you for this meal that you have provided me."
SECOND ONE
Some hikers wear a bell around their neck or on their pack. Black bears will hear this and move away. Grizzly bears are known to charge anyway. That is why it is recommended to bring pepper spray with you when hiking in bear country.

Do you know the difference between black bear scat (poop) and grizzly bear scat?

Black bear scat just looks like ....poop.

Grizzly bear scat has bells in it and smells like pepper.
FIRST ONE
Two hikers were walking barefoot with their sneakers thrown over their shoulders. They see a bear across the field charging fast toward them!

One of the hikers starts running barefoot.

The other hiker immediatelly drops down and puts on his sneakers.

The barefoot one turns back and yells "Are you crazy! Bears can run faster than people ...even if they have sneakers on!"

The hiker putting on his sneakers calmly replied "Yeah, but I will be able to run faster than you!"
FOURTH ONE
Do you know how to keep a bear from charging?        ..........Take away its credit card!
(Thanks Bill B. I hope I told it right!)
PS: The bear pics above were taken at the OKC zoo with inch thick glass just behind me!
