Mooney Falls
Robbie is standing above Mooney Falls to give you an idea how high 200 feet is. By the way, Mooney Falls was named in the early 1880s after the first known white explorer who lost his life trying to climb down these falls.
The top of Mooney Falls is at an altitude of about 3,000 feet above sea level and goes over the upper edge of the red-wall limestone layer of the Grand Canyon.
Looking downstream from Mooney Falls along the red-wall limestone.
