| In the OKFFL, a franchise player is a player that is kept by an individual franchise from year to year. The OKFFL currently uses a cycle that changes every three years. This determines how many franchise players will be kept in a given year. | |||||||
| R12.1 In the 1999 season, each franchise selected one player to be kept as a franchise player. In the 2000 season, each franchise selected two players to be kept as franchise players. In the 2001 season, each franchise will select three players to be their franchise players. In the 2002 season the cycle will be restarted with each franchise selecting one player at the end of the season to be kept for the 2003 season. R12.2 Franchise players will fill the last rounds in the draft. |
