| R10.1���� Pick-ups A player that is not currently on a team roster may be "picked-up" by an owner. That owner must insure that they have an open slot on their roster. If no slot exists, then it is up to the individual owner to insure they do not exceed the maximum player rule (see R6.0). |

| R10.1.1���� Fees The first pick-up for a franchise in each season is free. After the initial pick-up, each player that is added to a roster cost $2. The deadline for any pick-up is kick-off week 13. R10.1.2 Pick-ups in a given week in the OKFFL is considered on a first come first serve basis. No roster changes can be made until after the Monday night game. The first franchise to contact the commissioner, either by e-mail or telephone, shall have first choice at any player on the free agent list. Franchise owners must keep in mind that to add a player to their roster, they must have funds in the "kitty" (see R10.1.3). R10.1.3 The Kitty The OKFFL uses a system called the "kitty". This is considered a "cyber bank account" that is set up with the commissioner. Any franchise that desires to add a player to their roster, either through pick-ups or trades, must insure that they have money in their account. Any franchise that does not have money on the books will not be allowed to make changes to their roster. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE! R10.2���� Trades Franchise owners in the OKFFL may also make roster changes through trades with other members of their Conference. A single trade may involve more than one player and more than one team. Before a trade becomes valid, two things must occur. First, trading franchises must insure that they have the fee required (see R10.2.3) on their account, and second all franchises involved must contact the Conference President and League Commissioner. Trades will not be allowed after kick-off week 8! R10.2.1 Franchise owners may also make trades involving future draft picks or for monetary gains. Trades regarding draft picks will abide by R10.2.2 R10.2.2 � A trade that involves future draft picks will be handled as follows, both team owners MUST put up the next years franchise fee of $100.00. This is a non-refundable fee! NO EXCEPTIONS R10.2.3 Nepotistic trades are not allowed and will be considered null and void. The Commissioner and the Conference President of the opposing Conference must insure that no franchise is trying to gain a major advantage and will evaluate trades between members of the same family on a case by case basis. R10.2.4���� Fees All franchises in the OKFFL receive one free trade in a season. Trades in the OKFFL require a $5 transaction fee. This fee must be paid in advance. Owners must decide if one or all owners involved in the trade will pay the fee. No matter how big the trade, the fee will remain $5. The Commissioner must be notified of all terms of the trade in order for the trade to be valid. |

| R10.3���� Trade Downs Trade downs in the OKFFL are simply trades held on draft day before the draft starts. This is done between owners to either get better players or better draft positions. All trade downs must be an even amount of players and/or picks from all R10.3.1 All owners receive one free trade down at the draft. All others require a $5 fee per trade. R10.3.2 New franchise owners will be allowed to participate in the trade down subject to review by the Commissioner and the Conference President. R10.4 The Conference Presidents may void any pick-up, trade, or trade down if conditions warrant. |
