wanna know about the dark kingdom? well you’ve come to the right place! well this may not be the most informative dark kingdom place but atleast its something! ok well i’m not adding queen beryl to this because (of course) this is a queen beryl site, you know! go look up her info if you want info on her.
dark kingdom
the dark kingdom is the original name for the dubbed “negaverse”. the ruler of the dark kingdom is a creature called metallia. queen beryl works for this creature. being so powerful, metallia brainwashed five innocent bystanders (known as the "shitennouto") become her servants. with these servants, she would create armies to attack the entire universe, starting with the moon. while attacking the moon, queen serenity (queen on the moon) sealed the people of the dark kingdom into a little crystal called the ginzuishou. in the dub it is known as the empireum silver crystal. a thousand years later the dark kingdom broke free and attacked earth, stealing energy from the humans. later on they found that the ginzuishou had been lost and to find it, they had to collect seven nijizuishou (rainbow crystals).
metallia
metallia is the source of the dark kingdom. not much is known about her so this’ll be short. she doesnt really have a human form. shes just sort of a black blob with a face (nice, huh). she gets queen beryl to do everything for her. in the anime, when beryl becomes helpless against the fight between her and sailormoon, beryl heads to metallia’s lair and asks for help. metallia then possesses beryl’s body and becomes even more powerful than before. then she appears before sailormoon in her new and improved body.
 jedeite
jedeite was the first king to be brainwashed. in my opinion there wasnt really anything special about him other than how damn sexy he is. he has a pretty boring personality..but hes a pretty good fighter...attacker.. uhh he doesnt really fight, does he? *shrugs* well he screwed up and beryl got rid of him. he was the first to go.
 nephrite
nephrite was the second king to be brainwashed. he too, is damn sexy. but in the dub, when he laughs he sounds like hes chocking or something o.O (eep! dont kill me, neflyte fans!!). this guy starts out all mean and cranky n shtuff. but then he meets usagi’s best friend, osaka naru. both nephrite and naru fall in love with eachother. but then it doesnt last that long when another villian decides to name nerphrite a traitor and kill him off *sniff*
 zoicyte
zoicyte was the third king to be brainwashed. zoicyte had a relationship with kunzite. because both lovers are male, the dub made poor zoicyte female and gave him/her a terrible voice actor with the most hillarious laugh. zoicyte was ordered to get the injiguishou (rainbow crystals) instead of human energy like the others did. zoicyte was a pretty cool villian (with the rats and all).
 kunzite
kunzite was the fourth and last king to be brainwashed. this dude was pure evil! and queen beryl favoured him for that. she seemed to enjoy him and prince endymion bickering. he was the most powerful and most dangerous henchman in the first season in my opinon! he was the only one in the anime that wasnt killed by queen beryl. he was killed by sailormoon.
