Once the image has loaded, you will see an animation of the routes that James (red route) and Mikell (blue route) ran as they approached the fifth control. James' route starts first (to indicate that James had a lead at the fourth control). But, you will see that Mikell's route catches -- and even passes -- James' route (to indicate that James' error at the fifth control cost him the race).
Each "frame" of the animation represents approximately 10 seconds of race time.
The animation simulates the race, but does not show what was actually going on. The race was not a mass start. Mikell started well after James and did not actually pass him on the course.
After you have looked at the animation, go to the rest of the course.
