John Ties Career Best USMTS Finish!
Our return to Junction Motor Speedway allowed John to tie his previous best finish on the USMTS with a 12th place finish. John ran very well in both the heat and B, finishing 4th in the heat, and 6th in the B feature, but missed gaining a transfer spot out of either of those races. John was battling Joe Kosiski for 4th place in the B feature when he drifted high, and lost a couple of positions to fall out of the transfer spot. He'd make the USMTS A feature with a National Provisional, and would start 24th. John moved up well during the race, to garner a 12th place finish at the drop of the checkered flag. Hopefully the strong run will be a sign of things to come on the USMTS! |
