Saturday, August 18, 2001 - Park Jefferson Speedway
Heat - Having not raced at the track in a number of months John started his heat race in the back, and although he was able to move up a few positions at the start, he was battling a very ill handling race car and gave those positions back. He would finish where he started 8th.
A Feature - The A feature would not prove to be much more successful. The car was again a handful and after starting 21st John was only able to move up to the 19th spot at the finish. The car was BAD. Some serious changes are in order if we are going to run with the USMTS boys on the 30th. |
