Know all men by these present that I, John Cornutt Sr., of the County
of Grayson and State of Virginia do for love, confidence and good will
that I have for my nephew William J. Cornutt grant give and beaqueath
unto him my entire personal estate to wit: One horse, my cattle, my
sheep, my wagon, my pork, my house hold and all debts that is due me
either by note account or otherwise and also all my moneys that I now
have. Nevertheless I reserve to myself the entire possession, benefit
and controle of all of it during my natural life. In witness whereof I
have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 26th day of December
1859. My yellow horse that I have give to Wm C. Cornutt, I give Wm J.
Cornutt.

Virginia At a court held for Grayson County the 23rd January 1860.
The foregoing last will and Testament of John Cornutt Sr. deceased, was this day produced in court and proved by oaths of James Cornutt and Wiley Cornutt subscribing witness's thereto and ordered to be recorded. And on the motion of William J. Cornutt who made oath, according to law,and together with James Cornutt and Wiley Cornutt his Securities enteredinto and acknowledged a bond in the penalty of Six Thousand Dollars conditioned as the law directs. Certificate is granted the said William J. Cornutt for obtaining letter of Administration on the estate of the said John Cornutt Sr., deceased, with the will (Aunesed?) in due form.
