Jaken- Aye, milord. The staff, as always, has led us without fail. Clearly, it must mean this tomb. Allow me to prove it.
Wolves- [snarling]
Jaken- This isn�t right at all. Milord! Success! It is exactly as I expected it. [whimpering/ excited giggling] N-n-nice doggies.
Wolves- [snarling and barking]
Sesshomaru- The fang. It is a fang I seek here. Once I possess it, I shall transform myself into a far greater power. Huh. Yet why must I explain? My power is what it is. I shall not always be limited thus. Can it be that I am afraid? Or is it merely that I know not my own limits? Perhaps I presume.
Wolves- [snarling]
Sesshomaru- Fang. It is a fang I seek here.

Jaken- Yes, milord. [giggling] [grunting]
Staff- [woman�s head screams]

Wolf- [panting]
Myoga- And here I�d thought I�d seen it all. Whoever he is, Lord InuYasha will want to know. I�d best go quickly.
Men- [indistinct chatter]
Leader- We rejoin the main force on the morrow. Let us eat of this war tonight, so that we may have strength for battle.
Random Soldier- Aye, and let us give thanks that we have such a leader to follow.
Random Soldier- Lead us to victory!
Leader- That I will, and more besides! [laughter]
Soldiers- [shouting and gargling]
Leader- What�s this? Are ye mad?
Sesshomaru- I need a boat.
Leader- You need a what? [laughing] Before a battle? And We�re to give it are we?
Sesshomaru- Why, yes, you are� and now.
Leader- I think not! Oh! Ahh! [strangles]
Soldiers- [gasping]
Random Soldier- Wh-why you!
Jaken- uh, Lord Sesshomaru, I regret to inform, there are no boats. Uh� unless you count those over there, of course.
Random Soldier- Wh-what is that?
Random Soldier- You�re not even human!
Random Soldier- They�re beasts. Worse than beasts!
Random Soldier- Kill them!
Sesshomaru- Jaken� I leave them to you.
Jaken- [snickering]
Soldiers- [shouting]
Jaken- [laughing] and feel the power of the Staff of the Skulls.
Soldiers- [shouting as they burn and die]
Jaken- [snickering] They might have been spared. Yet such is the arrogance of these lofty samurai warriors. That each and every time Lord Sesshomaru must teach them their lesson anew! Ah, hello? Lord Sesshomaru? I�ve done as you asked. Milord? Are you there? Wait for me, milord! I�m coming! Whoa! Oh! Oh! What is this? The Staff�s changed position. It must be the fang. It�s changed location. Lord Sesshomaru?
Sesshomaru- Yes.
Jaken- Mightn�t we ask� Lord�InuYasha, where the tomb is?
Sesshomaru- InuYasha!
Jaken- Aah! [gargling]
Sesshomaru- I prefer not to think of him.
Jaken- [sputtering] Forgive me.
Sesshomaru- He is, for our purposes, dead. Wasn�t he sealed to a tree 50 years ago?
Jaken- B-b-but, sire! The spell! They say it was removed but recently. [sputtering] Besides the Staff�it�s been acting strangely. It is because of InuYasha. I�m sure of it! Speaking of the staff, milord, mightn�t you remove it? I can�t breathe. Ahh!
Kagome- [grunting][sighs] Made it. So how is it I would up in some weird, feudal alternate version of Japan? In the present, my family are caretakers of an ancient shrine. With a-thousand-year-old tree, and a scary, hidden well in the grounds, I guess we�re kind of weird ourselves. It was through the well that I made it here, where monsters came after a jewel in my body. Though I didn�t know it at the time. With the old priestess Kaede, and the villagers looking after me, I�m doing okay. Though I don�t dare think about what other monsters might come.
(Kagome remembering)
InuYasha- Kagome, let�s go.
Kagome- Huh?
InuYasha- What?
Kagome- You never said my name before.
InuYasha- Yeah? What of it?
Kagome- It�s just that I think you like me more now is all.
InuYasha- Pssh! Don�t get excited. I still think you�re pretty useless.
Kagome- Remind me next time not to save you!
InuYasha- [groaning]
Kagome- If it hurts so much you should have said something.
InuYasha- Ugh�Leave me alone.

Kagome- He�s rude, he�s crude and says he hates me. But if we can find all the pieces of the jewel, that�s all that matters, right?
Myoga- Three days I�ve been walking non-stop. I think I need to rest. [sighs] [bell rings] That sound�What�s making it? Ugh! Ugh!
Kagome- Hmm. Felt like I ran over something. Must have imagined it.
InuYasha- First aid treatment? I don�t need it. Go away!

Kaede- [chuckling] Not soon, perhaps, but aye. It would help if InuYasha, and young Kagome could try and like each other a little more.
Little Girl- They do like each other.
Kaede- Ay?

Kagome- (thinking) He�s not all human, but not demon either. Can someone be half?

Myoga- [sucking] Greeting and salutations. Oh.
InuYasha- Hmm. Well, if it ain�t Myoga the flea.
Kagome- Flea?
InuYasha- So, what�d you come to see me about?
Myoga- Lord InuYasha, I have come to, uh� I�ve come to tell you that�[sighs]

Myoga- As guardian of his final resting place, I can bear it no longer.
InuYasha- So you took off and came here instead.
Myoga- But it�s the remains that are important. And they are no longer there.
InuYasha- Oh, so where are the remains then?
Myoga- Regrettably, sire, no one knows.
InuYasha- Some guardian you are.
Kaede- InuYasha, they say your father was a phantom beast, that the western lands were his domain.
(memory type flashback, one of the few times we see Toga/Inutaisho, InuYasha's Father)
Men- [shouting]

InuYasha- Cant say a I remember it that well.
Myoga- Your father was a demon among demons, great and powerful. His blood was especially delicious, and you, Lord InuYasha, have inherited that from him.
Kagome- Wow! And what about his mom?
Myoga- She was a beauty beyond compare, a true�ugh!
Kagome- Hey! That wasn�t very nice.
InuYasha- Just drop it, okay? She died a long time ago.
Kagome- Sorry about that. Did something I say make him upset?
Kaede- Aye, well�
Kagome- I�m sorry. All I did was� ask him about� his mother.
Myoga- Yes, Lord, InuYasha has always preferred not to speak of her.

Kagome- He called you his brother. Does that mean he�s�

InuYasha- Our father�s tomb? Why ask me?
Sesshomaru- Seeing yet never seen, protected, yet never known to its protector. No other clues are known.
InuYasha- I got no idea what you�re talking about. Besides, even if I did, there�s no way I�d tell you.
Sesshomaru- I see. Then you leave me no other choice, but o let your mother�s suffering convince you.
Izayoi- [groaning]
Kagome- [gasps] InuYasha!
InuYasha- Huh. Nice try jerk! She�s been dead for years and we both know it! Like I�d really fall for some stupid trick like that!
Sesshomaru- A trick is it?
Jaken- You�re who�s stupid. Recalling spirits from the netherworld is a simple task if you are Lord Sesshomaru. He was even so kind as to give her flesh. And yet her own son would deny it. How sad to be mother to one such as you!
Izayoi- [moaning] InuYasha!
InuYasha- (thinking) Then maybe� it is true!
Izayoi- I have come back InuYasha! Back from the world of the dead. [groans]
InuYasha- Stop hurting her! Iron Reaver Soul Stealer!! [grunts]
Messengers- [squeaking]
Kagome- Oh, no! Are you okay?

Kagome- [gasps]

Jaken- Aye, milord. And yet it goes so well. Please, milord, leave it all to me.
Sesshomaru- This scheme of your is beneath me. Should it fail, Jaken, you will die.

Izayoi- At the border of the spirit world.

InuYasha- Crossing over? Oh yeah, right. It happened so long ago I keep forgetting you�re dead.
Izayoi- InuYasha, you� you�ve become a man, haven�t you?
InuYasha- Well, yeah. I mean, when you dies, I guess I was still just a kid, right?
Izayoi- Such terrible, violent days, and you all alone, with no one to care for you. How can you ever forgive me?
InuYasha- It weren�t that big a deal. I mean�

Kagome- [moaning] (thinking) InuYasha�s mother. She�s okay. Uh� I can�t move. I�m paralyzed. [gasps] Her face! No Reflection! (out loud) InuYash! Inu!�(thinking) My voice! I can�t speak!
InuYasha- Mother.
Izayoi- Partings are never easy. Wouldn�t you agree?
InuYasha- I�
Kagome- (thinking) InuYasha! Snap out of it! She doesn�t have a face! Whoever she is, she�s not your mom!

Words of interest-
Oni- Orger type big monster. The big things that Sesshomaru likes to control.
Izayoi- The accepted name of InuYasha's mom.
Toga/Inutaisho- The accepted names for InuYasha and Sesshomaru's father. Inutaisho means something close to leader of the dogs, which is what he was when he was alive, but now Sesshy is the Inutaisho. Toga is the accepted name from the third movie. Segumi is also a suspected name by some from movie one. His actual official name is unknown.
