| Nightshine written around 1995 unfinished |
| As the thunder strikes, I think of you. When the morning breaks, I feel the dew. I use the love you gave to me, To keep me where I ought to be. Right here with you. As the wind will flow from dusk till dawn, The stars, they shine to lead me on. To another day without you, Waiting, wanting just to see you, with a smile that brings the sun. I ponder quietly, her long dark hair. The way it floats upon midnight's air. The way she moves, so gracefully. The way she stares, so wantingly. Her eyes, I can't escape the glare. More to come...some day. I'm aware that the poem speaks in two time frames. I might change it some day. |
