Poems: Series

Part 1: Desolate06-25-2005
Salty tears run down a cheek
crossed with a fresh cut, blood
A stinging sensation
Nothing can block the flood
Too many tears have been shed
Too many hearts have been shattered
A body lying lifeless
worn out and tattered
A pair of eyes stare into space
A mind that can't focus on time
A mind that can't think
A pair of eyes that can't see
A mouth that can't speak
A person that ceased to be
What has become of this world? A desolate planet
full of heartless things
Betrayl, loss, heartache
things to haunt human beings

Part 2: Lover's Paradise06-29-2005
Lovers must escape
to a world all their own
A place full of harmony
where their minds can atone
Their hearts can mend
their wills will bend
Life can be easier to deal with
if you have someone by your side
A place to escape to
where you can both hide
A place deep within the minds
of every pair of lovers
where life is completely perfect
your worries and sorrows pass over

Part 3: Meeting09-09-2005
Into the real world
the lovers finally meet
For a blissful moment
their hearts cease to beat
A shy kiss on the cheek
A childlike action, innocent
An expensive compaign
but worth every cent
Shyness turns to comfort
Comfort to passion
A soft kiss on the neck
arms around the waist
Moving to fast?
Not in this case
Both worlds collide
Paradise and Reality
all sorrows melt away
and they become one entity

Part 4: Farewell09-28-2005
Harsh reality comes between them
a delayed reaction
but definite, none-the-less
The lovers are torn apart
pain sears their hearts
and they lose a life that's best
Hours turn to days
Days turn to weeks
The world turns dark
but their sorrows haven't peaked
They question their world
They question their lives
To everyone else it's fine
but to them it's lies
A desolate life returns
Their hearts cease to beat
Their lives halt in motion
until, again they meet
