Gazing out the window
admiring the sky so blue
Wondering how warm it is
instead of listening to you
The suns bright rays
turn everything to gold
I want to be out there
trapt within it's hold
I close my eyes and imagine
the wind blowing through my hair
Wandering through the grass
with my feet bare
The heat of the sun
the coolness of the earth
Everything in a cycle
from death to birth
Dream Love
Close your eyes
and dream to sleep
Let your emotions wander
but your mind keep
I stand before you
on my face, a smile
To return a gift
for you make my life worth while
I place a kiss
on your sweet lips
My heart flutters
with your hands on my hips
I lean my head forward
to whisper so true
"Into your dream
take me with you"
Dying Soul
My life seems perfect to you
as I hide behind these lies
I show you what you want to see
Even though I'd rather die
A world of spoils and trust
is what you look around and see
A world full of bribes and betrayl
is what has come for me
You are jealous of the life I have
and don't understand when I say no
I try to say the truth
but my words won't flow
So here I sit
in my own web of lies
Outside I'm happy and smiling
Inside my soul dies
Soul Wanderer
My soul wanders to you
wherever you might be
So close your eyes
and believe that you see me
Standing before you
with my arms open wide
So that I may hold you
my feelings I never hide
Here I stand before you
your love lit the way
So take me in your arms
Cover me with sweet kisses
the ones I love so much
and tell me that you love me
as I melt with your touch
