Apparently I really enjoy writing quizzes about the Newsboys. I didn't even realize I had this many until I decided to gather them all in their own section. :) The place is a mess at the moment but I'll wait until I have some energy before I try to impose any organization on the list below. In the meantime, just watch your step.

duh...

The first quiz I ever wrote was this here 17-question thing. I used up every bit of obscure Newsboys knowledge I had at the time. Recently I've also posted the answers to this one on their own page, so you folks won't be dependent on my unreliable email habits to find out what they are.

Getting silly with the Snappy one day, I took some screen captures of various body parts belonging to the Newsboys. Voil-- my Who is it? quiz was born.

The first quiz I offered a prize for was short and sweet. In the fine print on my front page, I asked which Newsboy once said, "And I also put shampoo on my cereal in the morning, and that makes my hair grow faster." It took two days for anyone to notice. Finally, a fan named Phil emailed the correct answer (Phil said it), and appropriately, the prize was a black-and-white of Phil. I understand it's now hanging on Phil's wall. Yeah, there's no link in this paragraph. I just wanted to mention the Phil quiz to keep the record complete. :)

My three-question child actors quiz was possibly the nastiest I ever wrote. I offered a Shine: the Hits poster flat to the first person to send in the right answers. Sami got them all right away, not surprisingly since the quiz was definitely slanted in favor of Jody fans.

The quotes contest was a lot of fun (and a lot of work). It had 47 questions, all Newsboys quotes, and I offered a choice of prizes to the winner. After five weeks, Mother and Bethany came out on top and got a Newsboys promo photo and a Phil Joel magazine, respectively. I've also posted the answers to it.

I started a very short quiz on July 30, 2001, and it ended less than 24 hours later when Anna emailed me the correct answer (it's now at the bottom of the page). She won the Entertaining Angels maxi single CD.

Getting nasty again, I hid a little message behind the buttons on the front page, offering a Newsboys poster to the first person to email me. Michelle found the message on 8/9/01 and won the WOW 2000 poster.. which I never liked much anyway...

Continuing the streak of hidden contests, I added a note to my fine print on 9/9/01 saying that I would send a poster to the first person who noticed the message. Eanah got it that time.

And Eanah won again on 9/16/01 when I was giving away a Phil Joel album flat to the first person who would send me a picture of Phynley that wasn't already on my site.
