To plagiarize means to steal and pass off, as one's own the work of another.
To prevent this crime, the writer must have a bibliography
and footnotes. To protect yourself:
1. Be sure to keep a record of all sources you use. We require a minimum of 10 sources (at least four different types).
2. You must footnote any direct quotes, or ideas directly attributed to another person.
3. We will present you with a standard bibliography and footnote format for both hard and Internet sources.
Papers handed in without a bibliography (10 sources) and footnotes will be returned and considered unacceptable. You will be given one opportunity to include these required elements.
No exceptions will be allowed!
