At the beginning of each calendar year, we usually begin with solutions, resolutions and hopes for positive change. This is true in politics as well as personal life. In January, the political year is launched with the President�s speech to congress on the state of the union. The speech included the accomplishments and hopes and goals for the country with proposals for new programs.
February 2, 2005 was the State of the Union Address where President Bush discussed his accomplishments and his goals for the coming months. As you read your section, complete the following: Please use a separate piece of paper.
