Oh My ?God! This games rules so much!
I know I should of reveiwed this game earlier but I didn't know how to put it into words(I'll try my best!).
Storyline: This great storyline is based of some Sci Fi book(I'm not sure what the name of it was)and is as exiting as it is fun. Summed up there is an alien race called The Covenent that has a machine called halo that could destroy the univerce and you have to stop anything from using it.Although its a lot more interesting then it sounds.
Graphics: This game was one of the first games for xbox, yet amazingly it still is one of the best graphically desighned games of all time. You may not notice it at first, but they but great detail in every nik and crany to this game. If you step on snow you make prints, dirt goes fly from under your wheels when you ride in your car on sand. The levels have really good graphics too, from futuristic space ships to snowy mountainous parts but the key factor is still the detail, I mean you can see induvidual snowflakes as they gently flow down to the ground. It is the most realism in a fantasy iv'e ever seen!
Controls: This is why there should ever be a fps console game, before halo, all fps console games sucked because no one knew a good control settings for controller fps, it was all about they keyboard and mouse, until halo, the controller settings feel so genuine and perfect.
Sound: Another perfect aspect of this game, and it definatley adds to the realism,ALOT. With dolby 5.1 surround you ARE Master Cheif! You can here you're feet crumpling the dry grass when you run or walk on it, You can here the covenant yalling war cries. It adds a whole new element to they game.
AI: The AI in this game is great, such as the enemies jump out of the way of grenades vechicals and ect. but the marines(you're teamates in campainghn mosde) are sometimes stupid, which makes it really funny when they die, but other times frustrating, such as simetimes they dint get in the car like there supposed to or when tthey run in front of you while there shooting.
Multi Player: Without multi player aspects of this game I would still get it, but multi player is perfect for this game and jacked up its overall score by alot, in Multi player you can go up to 4 players per xbox, and 4 xboxes system linked. (its ok you use seperate tvs)The multiplayer modes are great, from free for all to racing its all good, and if you want you can edit the game modes to your pleasure! Thats right, example, edit Free for all, I could change to unlimeted gernades, all vehicles, radar types and more, its great!
Fun Factor: This game is really fun,I mean REALLY FUN! I own it so I played the heck out of it, and I will always take part in a 4player halo match whenever possible. If you like First Person shooters whatsoever try this game and you'll be hooked. I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH!
