GA TECH RULES

 DO

  1. Remain Courteous. Say, "Enjoy the game", "How can I help you?". If we are out of something begin by saying, "I am sorry, but we are out of_____." If we know when we will get some more, then say, " We hope to have some by _________."
  2. Work Together on all set-up and clean up tasks. These jobs go by faster, and are easier when shared amongst the entire group, not just a few people.
  3. Wear the proper clothes, white shirt (no writing or colors, black pants, comfortable [preferably NO HEELS] shoes).
  4. Have your personal money counted before entering the stand.
  5. Sign up on the attendance sheet or you won’t be able to get credit later for working.
  6. Remain patient with the process of getting things you need, i.e., change, ice, and food.
  7. Stay in your assigned area. If you are on a register, you must remain at the register unless relieved by a parent.
  8. Understand that your job will probably not be the same all game and you will be needed to help out in several areas during the event.
  9. Remain in the immediate area next to the concession when on break.
  10. Practice good hygiene and health guidelines after using the restroom. Always wash hands thoroughly after visiting the restroom. Use gloves to handle food directly.

DON'T

  1. Leave the concession stand without permission.
  2. Leave your register under any circumstance without clearing it with an adult.
  3. Cover a register for anyone else unless assigned to by a parent.
  4. Watch the football game in the stands, under any circumstance. This can cost us significant amounts of money, if caught.
  5. Go on a break unless instructed to do so by an adult.
  6. Take longer than 15 minute breaks. When you remain on break that prevents others from taking their break.
  7. Argue with adults or workers about your assignments. Every job is important and needed in order to do the job properly. Assignments are rotated and as a team we work the stand, and each person doesn’t always get the job they prefer, but as a team shares all the assignments.
  8. Take any food until a parent and a supervisor have cleared all credits or specifically told you that you can eat.

In an effort to protect our group's valuable reputation and the significant financial investment this event represents to the group. Failure to follow these guidelines can result in the loss of your share ($20 per person) for that game and restriction from future games, if necessary.
