ALL U.K LOWER 6TH STUDENTS - URGENT AS LEVEL NEWS:

We plan to petition the Government and Department for Education and Employment over the changes made to the A-level system, known as curriculum 2000. The system isn't working and needs to be urgently reviewed. We need more resources, teachers, equipment and time. This experiment will effect our future prospects. For example; the average AS level Maths grade was a fail. Key skills are pointless and waste valuable time as Universities tend to ignore them. General Studies likewise is an ineffective exam. The AS levels themselves have too much content to be covered in too little time. If you are in favour of petitioning the Secretary of State for Education for an urgent review of the exams and resourcing, please  email
[email protected] and > then forward this message to your friends. All names, email addresses and area details will be colated and submitted to 10 Downing Street. Please do not sign it more than once, Many thanks.
