| Morgan grinned as she felt J.J.s large, coarse hands roam from her stomach to her hips. She hadnt partied like this since she came home last Christmas, and it felt exhilarating to be back in the scene. There were no hang-ups or hurt feelings to ponder and pray over. Just some innocent fun and flirtatious glances to play with. Morgan briefly closed her eyes, and let herself become lost in the pulsing rhythm of the music and the rising body heat of the guests. She allowed her body to take control as she nudged her ass against J.J., knowing damn well by the feel of his jeans that he was enjoying this as much as she was. Hey, hey, no rough play. J.J. leaned in closer, cradling his cheek against hers. Too bad, you gotta take what youre handed. And if that means getting this, said Morgan, grinding her back to him, grin and bare it. I like a challenge, and I have a feeling Ive found the perfect one to take on. You have. But I need to use the restroom. Ill be back. Alright, Ill be waiting, he whispered in her ear as slow smile crept across his pouty lips. Morgan carefully weaved her way through the masses in search of the restroom. She pulled her sweaty strands of hair into a bun, letting the air cool the back of her neck. From the moment she and J.J. hit the floor, he guaranteed her a good time. And after having that episode with Sarah, Morgan wasnt quite sure hed succeed. Oh, but he had she laughed quietly. Having a charismatic, gorgeous man pay attention to her for an entire half hour erased any previous hostility or sadness she harbored. The feel of his hands, the wanton movements of his body against hersthe entire primal experience satisfied her every need. Drifting back into reality, Morgan fanned herself and surveyed the area until finally she noticed a long line of people snaking out of the hallway. That had to be it. Morgan. She felt someones hand entangle itself in hers, and turned around only to look at Apolo. Surprisingly, no angry words sputtered out. She smiled brightly. Hey, Stranger. Having a good time? Apolo shook his head vigorously. Ive been feeling terrible about the way I handled things with Sarah. And I dont want to lose my best friend over that. Dont worry; you didnt. Were still buddies. Consider it forgotten, Morgan said nonchalantly, taking the time to fix his crooked shirt collar. Uhhwhawhat? Im over it. Im having too good a time to stay mad at Sarah or blame you for whatever you didor didnt do. Anyway, its thanks to J.J. Oh, he mumbled, slowly nodding his head. Yeah, Ive seen you out there with him. Looks like youre both getting along really well. I know! And I have you to thank! If you hadnt introduced me to J.J. the other day in Sam Goodys, I never wouldve discovered how wonderful he is. I owe you one, Apolo. Morgan tiptoed and placed a quick kiss on Apolos dry mouth. Ill see you later okay? I really have to pee, and well, J.J.s waiting for me. Yeah, sure. Just be careful okay! he shouted after Morgan, watching her edge away from him. Um, alright, she replied, looking over her shoulder at his obviously concerned face. And even with each step she took, Morgan could smell Apolos cologne on her skin. Musky. Sweet. Comfortable. * * * I thought you had managed to slip away from me. Morgan bit down on her lower lip as she approached a positively beaming J.J. No, not quite yet. There was just a long line for the bathroom. And besides, Im not one to leave without bidding adieu. Ahso I see. A girl with manners. How sexy, J.J. whispered as he ran his fingers down Morgans shoulder. Well, you wanna dance? Actually, he said, now tracing the scooping outline of her blouse. I was wondering if you wanted to go upstairs instead. Not in particular. Morgan grabbed his fingers and placed them gently at his side. Im sorry if I gave you the wrong impression, J.J, but I have this thing about first dates. And what is that? No one gets any. Awwthats a mighty shame, replied J.J. as he moved behind Morgan, to deny yourself of desire and pleasure. Because Im a strong believer in acting on your feelings. Morgan could feel his warm breath on the contours of her neck. A subtle tingle crawled down her spine. Somehow, it didnt have the same alluring effect as before. It almost felt shallow, devoid of any interest or intimacy. Morgan turned to face J.J., her once playful eyes now fiery. Well, Im a strong believer in not compromising ones morals. And even for you my dear, I wouldnt dare. |
