Chapter Six (CONT.)
Morgans ears perked as she heard a faint knock at her door.  She turned to look at the clock on her dresser.  Two in the morning.  It was probably Lauren, desperate to chat about one of her late night escapades.  Morgan rolled her eyes as she reached over to grab her robe off a hangar.

Im coming, she shouted, her voice straining to meet the sound of the whistling tree branches.

You know Lauren, I really dont feel like analyzing one of your late night stands right Morgans voice trailed off as she finally looked up from tying her robe.

Hi.  Apolo stood before the threshold, shadows lurking around his mouth, revealing the smallest hint of a smile.

Morgans stare met that soulful one of his as she felt herself drown into those bright, brown pools.  Hey, she answered, slowly biting down on her lower lip.  What took you so long?

I dont know, but somehow, it doesnt seem to matter now.

Apolo entered, his confident gait swift like the wind rattling in the streets.  Morgan shuffled away from the door, retreating into the dark hallway until he finally had her cornered against the countertop.  Morgan innocently stared up at him, his eyes emitting a flash of lust that seemed to parallel the overwhelming feelings surging up and through her every vein.  Apolo leaned in closer and breathed in the softness of Morgans shampoo, taking his time to memorize its essence, its raw sweetness mingled with wild raspberries.  She could almost taste the salty moisture of his golden skin on her tongue as his arms entrapped her under the weight of his heaving body.

No strings attached, she murmured as Apolo brushed his full lips against hers, his warmth gliding over her own, giving him permission to take control .

None, he whispered in reply, holding her gaze as she returned his kiss ever so lightly on his waiting mouth.  Our secret.

Morgan slowly nodded, ducking beneath Apolos right arm and releasing herself from his cage.  She smiled as she barely missed the gentle touch of his lips once again.  Apolo stared at Morgan, the moonlight from the window shining down and enhancing her features like nothing his human eyes had ever witnessed before.  She grabbed him by both of his rugged hands, and grinned once again, a few tendrils of hair falling over her misty eyes.  Morgan inched backwards, guiding Apolo with every step as her feet glided over the cool tile until finally reaching the bedroom.  The door uttered a creak as it closed behind the two of them.
