The content of the site is mainly to be photos, facts & figures, relating to Gildersome's past and hopefully and insight into what the future holds for this cosy West Yorkshire Village.

 

Situated mid point Leeds, Wakefield & Bradford, Gildersome still retains a feel of village life, although it's population has increased dramatically over the last 10 years.

 

I am from an old Gildersome family; with roots going back well into the middle of the 18^th century.
