Chairperson of the Zagreb jewish home for the aged. Wrote Jewish religion and history books in Serbo-Croatian and German. An active zionist.

First chairperson of the Yugoslav Zionist Federation. Founder of the Union of Jewish Communities in Yugoslavia after the first world war. One of the founders of "Judea" the jewish students club at the Zagreb University and of Maccabi Zagreb.
