FNL 2004 D.W. Report

Boogity, Boogity, Boogity, boyz! We are half way through the race season and the teams are heating up! I know you are already missin' ole D.W. from the Fox telecasts.

So I thought I would drop a note and give you my take on the FNL!


While attending the 4th of July bash at Ternamania fantasy headquarters, I over heard Klynch racing spouting off to JYD that his team was still in it and he wasn't giving up! Ofcourse he is right, everybody is still in it, and the competitiveness between the race teams is at and all time high! I firmly believe this years draft was the best of all time!

But JYD said and interesting thing to a drunk Klynch owner, and I quote " As a former champion I can recognize championship teams, and I think Blind Pigz or shoompaq have the right stuff this year "! All D.W. can say is Oh My!

Then I got to thinkin', could there be a way to test JYD's bold statement! Here is what my crack head staff came up with: ( Realizing with our scoring system that it is impossible to project champions with just one stat, I tried to do it anyway.)

The following will give your teams individual and collective average finish through the 21 races completed. Not all racers competed in 21 races ( Bud Shootout, Nextel Challenge ) and these stats reflect only what you competed in!

DW comes to this conclusion: JYD is ranked # 1 in Ohio in Virtual thunder ( for a reason ) and knows what he is talking about! I mean, " what about BOB ", are you kiddin me, his 5 drivers finish in the top 15! Damn. It is also interesing to note: that Shoompaq is leading in both the Qual. and Laps led categorys for the season. Thus, explaining higher cat. points than Bob. I also believe JYD being the highest of caliber prognosticater's, understands that Everham Dodges took shoompaq to the championship last year and are in a better position this year, to do so again!
Ofcourse, lets not forget that Blind Pigz, Roush - Yates engine's are only going to get better and more consistent!

In conclusion, lets take a look a DW's pre season favorite Klynch Motorsports. This team has a better avgerage finish ratio than shoompaq! This team has beatn' JYD four straight times! ( JYD has beatn' Shoompaq four straight times! ) Stewart just won his first race! errrrrr oop there it is, Stewart who picks on the likes of Kahne, W. Burton, Rusty, and Andretti! Is gonna be in for a rude awakening in the second half, when he needs to rub against Dale Jr and or Johnson! I still say he ( stewart ) is the imitator not the intimidator. Dale Sr. rubbed out guys like Yarborough, King Richard Petty, and ofcourse myself DARRELL WALTRIP, three time champion! So in conclusion, DW thinks, if it looks like a pig and drives like a pig, it's a pig!

Only rabbits and tortises win the race!
