Now that winter has come and the birds are done nesting, what do you do with the bird house.If you have bird houses still up, you may want to keep them there. During the winter birds will still use them as a place to roost. Sometimes multiple birds share the same house.
Yes, bird can tell you the weather. If you look out at your bird feeders and there are a lot of birds feeding franticly, it pobably means that snow is coming.

Bird of the week this week is the White-winged Crossbill. Year round you can find this crossbill from Alaska south to southern Canada and East to Maine and during the winter they will move south and if it's an irruptive year will depend how far south they will go.
