In January of 1999, Sherry Lazane of Liberty, Missouri started a newsletter called the Ohio Art Beat. It contains information on Ohio Art tin toys and is published 4 times a year.
Members are invited to send in pictures and write articles about their collections for the "Collector's Corner" section.  Some of the featured collections have been from Leigh Anderson of Tennessee with her wonderful collection, Frank and Charlotte Stewart of Alabama who shared their beautiful collection of tea sets, Darby Kubik of Iowa with her sand pail collection, and Michael and Linda Miller of Ohio with their bank collection.
There is a "Just the Facts" section by Jim Gilcher retired from the Ohio Art Company who writes a short column in each issue about interesting tidbits from the company.
Also included are reports on eBay sales for Ohio Art items.
This is a great way to keep up on all the Ohio Art news and stay in touch with collectors of these wonderful toys from all across the country!
I want to thank Sherry for a great beginning to our group!
UPDATE...
2008 begins our 10th year in publication so whether you are a new collector or a seasoned one, why not join us as we continue learning about our great toys?
