WOMAN DIES OF AUTO INJURIES
Mrs Barbara Luchsinger hurt in accident here May 9.
Mrs Barbara Luchsinger, 78, who was a roomer in the home of George
Weaver, 24 High St, died in Miami Valley hospital Saturday night of
injuries received May 9 when she was struck by an auto.
The auto was driven by Wiley Wenger, 49, Almerwin Terrace. Although
Mrs Luchsinger received only a broken right leg, she suffered a
relapse Wednesday after improving following the accident.
Coroner JF Torrence was notified of the death and will make an
investigation. Attendants at Miami Valley Hospital say that
complications which resulted from the injuries received in the
accident resulted in death. Wenger is reported to have been absolved
of blame.
The accident occured at Wayne Ave and Hickory St. Mrs Luchsinger is
survived by a stepson, and a stepdaughter who are not residents of
Dayton. Funeral services will be conducted Monday of Tuesday
afternoon at 2 pm at the residence on High St. The body was taken in
charge by Undertaker Edward Hoyne.
