Angelus a 248 year old vampire turned in 1753 in Galway, Ireland by Darla his real name is Liam when he was turned he murdered his whole village and his family. He was known as the Scourge of Europe and the Master him self called him once “The most vicious creature I ever met”. Till an fatal night in 1898. Darla brought him as a gift a young Gypsy girl. Only this young girl belonged to a clan of Romani called the Kalderash, and this clan had access to certain forms of magic. As payback they placed a curse on Angelus witch give him back his soul, so he could suffer for eternity with the knowledge of what he had down to all those innocent people.

In 1996 the sould Angelus who calls himself Angel by then meets the demon Whistler in LA. Whistler challenged him to change his (un) live and introduce him to a young girl Buffy Summers who is destened to be the slayer. Angel first helps her with clues but as time goes by he and Buffy fall in love with each other and think work out great. Till the night of Buffy’s 17 birthdays, they sleep together and Angel loses his soul. Angelus immediately goes back to his childe Drusilla and grandchilde Spike to live with them in the factory. But because Buffy made him feel like a human he begins to torment her. At the moment Buffy is finally strong enough to fight Angelus, he is creating a plan to suck the world in to hell with the help of a demon named Acatla. Buffy finds help in the form of Whistler who tells him that once Acatla is awake the only way to stop him is with Angelus’ blood. In the final battle Buffy is fighting Angelus and ready to kill him when suddenly the spell who her best friend Willow is performing changes everything and gives Angelus his soul back. But the demon is already awakened so Buffy is forced to send her lover Angel to hell.

After many years of suffering Angel returned to the world, by mysterious intervention, as a savage animal. Buffy finds him and takes care of him. Their love resumed, but is forever tainted by the knowledge what can happen. And after a big battle with the mayor of Sunnydale Angel is leaving for LA to build up a new live without Buffy.

In LA he starts an office together with Cordelia Chase and Doyle with their help he fights of the forces of Evil. But Doyle sacrifices himself for a family of good demons and Angel feels once again the weight of his soul. In comes Wesley an ex-watcher who knows Angel and Cordelia from Sunnydale and later the team gets a fourth player Charles Gunn. In 2001 his sire sire Darla returns from the death, and tries to take his soul away once again. Unfortunately for her (and maybe also for us) when she sleeps with him nothing happens.     

Angel who has fired his whole team of investigators in the mean time, comes back to Cordelia, Gunn an Wesley and tries to make everything better. The team up again only to be met by another challenge.

As they try to help a cousin of Lorne, the owner of Caritas, to find his way back home. Cordelia goes missing in action. The members quickly discover that Cordelia is sucked through a portal and is in Pylia the home off Lorne.

They go after her and rescue her. In Pylia they meet this girl Fred who the take with them back home.

As they enter the Hotel, Willow a member off the Scooby gang from Sunnydale is waiting for them with tragic news. Buffy has offered herself to save the world.

Angel needs time for himself and goes on a short holiday to a monastery.

When he comes back business goes on as ussely for the gang with the addition of Fred.

Angel hears that Buffy is back from the dead and goes to meet her, when he comes back he doesn’t really talks about what happens and the rest off the gang leaves him alone.

Then suddenly Darla is back and pregnant with Angels child.

She comes to Angel for help to find out away to get rid of the child, first everybody things the child is some kind off super vampire, but then Angel hears the childes heartbeat and he comes to the conclusion that the childe is human and has a soul.

If Darla goes into labour it seems like she can’t bring the childe to this world because her body is dead and isn’t made anymore to bring a baby.

Darla who in the meantime really is going to love the child and doesn’t want to lose it commits suicide and in her ashes lies Angels son.
