Responsible for the tracking, unifying and booking of capital assets. Involves internal customer service with other Strategic Business Units. Prepare and audit work orders from set-up to closing, process journal entries, assist in training of co-workers and others when needed. Responsible for transmission, structure and improvements as well as sale of property work orders. Generate monthly and year end reports for entire department. During a time of layoffs with the company, due to the acquisition of FPC by CP&L, I was offered a position and am currently training on the duties of Statistical Accountant, reconciliation of cash,and financial reporting.
