Antony Acosta, Duncan James, Lee Ryan & Simon Webbe aka Blue. 4 young & talented guys from the UK. Their first single in North America was "All Rise" & their next single is going to be "Fly By"...!! This is one awesome & sweet group people!! I've met them last nite[May 8th]& it was so kewl! I also met three awesome girls there! Hi Delreene, Dawn Raye & Biddy[aka Crazy Dunk Gal!]!!! Even though the three of them were luckier than I was I would still love to say that I too was lucky to get VIP passes & to be up close...!

I'm not the best at concert reviews becoz I always end up being so tired after & I forget what songs they sing & stuff but I will say what I remember.

I am a dishwasher/hostess at Denny's on Calgary Trail/Gateway Boulevarde. I had no idea that the boys of Blue were even coming to Edmonton until last Wednesday nite...a week before the show. We have a radio in the "dishpit" & I am always listening to Power 92 which was a good thing! What I thought was going to be another plain boring nite @ Denny's turned out to be one of the most awesome nites ever! Tied to when my boyfriend first kissed me! The DJ on the radio was saying that Blue was going to be @ HMV on May the 8th & that we can win VIP passes to the show by listening to the radio & be the 9th caller when Blue comes on. Well it was about 3:30 or something when All Rise came on & I stopped what I was doing & went running out the door to the front to call...hey the manager wasn't there & she wouldn't mind anyway & like I cared then what customers thought...I was too busy hoping to win! It didn't take too long to get through coz usually there's a busy signal but it kept ringing & I kept waiting & waiting. Finally a voice came on saying I was caller 3. Dammit! I hung up & called again coz I really wanted the passes! And I was caller 9! I was soooo happy! She asked my name & stuff & I was all running around the resterant happy & shocked! Yes I am 22 but I was just so shocked & happy & couldn't help it! I couldn't wait for the rest of the week!

The nite before the concert went by slowly so I was like waiting & waiting so I could sleep for a few hours & then go all the way to West Ed..it sucks living in Millwoods! I did my hair & make up & stuff & went to wait for the bus. Arghhh but on the bus to West Ed...there were these two girls sitting in front of me & they must of been two of those snooty @$$ biotches becoz they were loud & obnoxious, talking about beating other kids up & one of them put her pen in this big girls hair & they were snickering & being rude. When the big girl got off they called her an earthquake & I was like "awww" for the girl becoz teasing just bugs me soo much & don't know how anyone could live with themselves for doing it. I've been called so many names including fat & ugly & it's nothing fun to go through @ all. Boy was I glad when they got off?

When the bus finally stopped @ West Ed...I went to find the HMV so I knew where it was & I finally found it after awhile & it made me all hyper inside! There were already people lined up & there was music & camera men around. I went to go find a flower shop coz i was going to get the guys some flowers to give @ the autograph session & it took awhile to find that & I'm very impatient! I found a "Bunches" floral shop & got them white roses I think they would of been. Then I went back to HMV to wait in line. I showed the lady there my pass & she showed me where to go. Thats where I met Delreen & DawnRaye coz they were showing me where the line was starting & we just started talking. Then we noticed a guy who looked like it could of been Simon! It was Simon! He was talking to the sound man or someone like that & then he started talking to fans, taking pictures & signed some autographs! He signed my CD booklet! =) I had an extra pass that I didn't want to waste so me & Delreene went to find someone who wanted a pass. One LUCKY girl who ended up being Biddy! She was happy when we found her & gave her my extra pass! She met Blue in England before but didn't know who they were then so she wanted to meet them again & she didn't want to go by herself but she had no one else to go with[same thing happened to me]so this was her lucky day! =) We ended up seeing Antony, Duncan & Lee after too & yelled hi to them! They such cuties! We waited awhile to be let in front of the stage & we talked for awhile & got each others e-mails & stuff...waiting for Blue to come! Finally they let us go in & we waited a bit longer & then finally they came on & sat on these couches that were on the stage & Busta Love from Power 92 was there interviewing them. It was awesome! They picked girls from the audience to go up with them & Dawn Raye was one of them! She was sooo nervous & shaky but it was kute! They got the girls to sing parts of their songs & it was so cute! They kept going up to fans & touching their hands & stuff & also when they sang they did that! Antony is Dawn Rayes fave & he was the one who pulled her up & then after when they were singing he went up to her & sang to her...holding her hand & kissed it! That would be so kewl! They sang Long Time, Too Close, Fly By, All Rise, If You Come Back & I think another few. Also before they were naming different singers & asking if we like them & everytime they named someone Antony would sing their song...it was cute!

When it was time to sign autographs...the four of us were talking about how kewl it will be to meet them! I gave each of the girls a flower to give to one of them & were all excited...! I felt nervous a bit rite before we went up & I was the first of all of us. Lee was the first there & he was sitting on the railing of the stairs going up to the dance floor & he's like "Hi darling" in a soft high voice "How are you?" & was all smiling & sweet! He signed his picture in the book & I gave him a hug & I gave him a letter for the group thanking them for coming to Edmonton & my website address is on it[heehee!] & then Antony was next & he was signing the girls in front of mine & he smiled & took my book to sign his picture & I gave him a hug & then next was Duncan...he was talking to the girls in front of me about Spider Man & Star Wars...it was cute! He looked at me & smiled & asked how I was & he told me I had a nice smile[thanks Dunk!]!! I was happy inside & out! I hugged him too after he signed his autograph & then moved on to Simon & he was about to sign & he smiled & said "I signed it already" becoz he signed it when we were waiting in line earlier before the show started..! I hugged him & watched Biddy get her pic taken with Dunk & then we were going to get a picture with four of us & the whole group but the man taking the picture said it was impossible to get one of the whole group but we DID get some pictures taken with Simon & Duncan! So it was all good! =) OOMG Biddy was so happy becoz Duncan kissed her on the lips[a peck]when she gave him a rose! She couldn't stop talking about it...it was sooo cute! =) Then we saw this Pepsi drinking contest & we could win Sum 41 tickets[not that I care]& this guy was wearing a sign that said "Blue Licks..." & it had a picture of a penis! Me & DawnRaye were calling him jealous! What a loser! Hmmm...then Dawn & Delreene had to go home[theyre sisters]so me so me & Biddy waited a bit longer & her friend Scott was with us & we waited until Blue left before we did just in case we could take more pictures or meet them better....I got a picture of Duncan looking over the edge down at us! Actually I got a few pics of the performance, them talking, one of the group with Si & Dunk & the Duncan one...I think thats all but I can't remember! I hope it worked! Blue left the stage & walked off in the mall followed by fans & then me, Bid & Scott went to a drug store in the mall so Bid could get her film developed...which I should do today! =) Then we said bye to Scott at the transit center & then me & Bid waited for our bus & we talked about the concert & everything & then our bus came & we went home & I was late for my shift @ Denny's but oh well...heehee! That was the concert! Sorry it sucked...I'm very tired @ the mo & like i said I suck at concert reviews! Sorry for all the exclamation marks but it was sooo kewl!

Anyone who sees this[including Blue ;)]...I am hoping pictures of the concert will be up here whenever I can so I can show you guys! I will be doing a whole website about Blue sometime but rite now I am trying to do as less as I can becoz my computer is crappy slow! But it will have lyric, bios, tourdates, other encounters & more! All I have to say is if you can...MEET BLUE! Or go to a concert! You'll be glad you did! =)
