C. Thomas b.19Mar 1700, m. Elizabethh Goff. Thomas and Elizabeth Goff had four known children; 1a. Thomas b. Feb 1722 died as a child; 2b. Elizabeth b. 13 Dec 1722 m. John Cory; 3c Thomas b. 11 Jan 1725m. Elizabeth Farrell and had 2 daughters only 4d. George b. 16 Feb 1724 m. Elizabeth Weir. They had 7 children (and think this is where Jim Benedicts family got the Weir Acheson from, but have one piece missing to prove it). Anyway George and Elizabeth had A.Ellen b. ???, m. Joseph Mc Cullogh. B. George b. 12 Mar 1755, who went to US and returned to Ire, unmarried. C.????? William b. 14 Aug 1772 died in Ire unmarried (something is wrong with this though as there is 20 years difference in years between these kids). D. Hannah b. ??? m. 18 Nov 1789, James Shield. E. John b. 14 Jan 1756 m. Maria Hogg and moved to Pa. but only had 2 daughters. F. Thomas b. 13 July 1758, came to Washington Co, Pa and became a Maj Gen in war of 1812. Nothing else on him. G. David b. 8 May 1759 m. 1st Elizabeth Young, 2nd Mary Wilson. Moved to Washinton Co, Pa. They had 3 sons; 1. William m. Sarah Ruple ; owned a large iron foundry in PA and had 1 son Edward Goodrich b. 9 Mar 1856, 2. Marcus Wilson Acheson who became a Circuit Judge; b. Washington Co. Pa. m. Sophie Duff Reiter; d. 6 July 1905; had one son ;Marcus W. m. Margaret Hawkins. His son was William George Hawkind Acheson b. 25 Feb 1910. 3. Alexander Wilson Acheson, Judge of Washinton Co Pa m. Jane Wishart; They had two sons. Ernest F and Alexander b. 12 Oct 1842; m. Sarah M. Cooke in 1864; d. Tx 1934; they only had one daughter Alice. (There is a whole book written on this family by the way and I have the Acheson that I ordered from the library of congress. However there are many, many errors in it).
