Combine 1 cup flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Mix together the warm water and non-fat dry milk, then pour it into the flour mixture. Beat on low speed of an electric mixer for three minutes.
Stir in enough remaining flour to make a very soft dough. Shape into a ball; put in a greased bowl, turn the dough to be sure it is coated all over andcover. Let this rise in a warm place, free from drafts for one hours or until double in bulk.
Punch down dough and shape into an 8 X 4" loaf
Grease a 9 X 5 X 3 loaf pan and sprinkle it with cornmeal.
Be sure to coat sides and bottom of the pan well with cthe cornmeal.
Cover and let rise again in a warm place until double in bulk.
Bake at 400 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Makes one loaf.
You can also make this in a bread maker.
