Rank/MD:
MD of the mission and the rank of the crew. Add the total player ranks and divide by three, rounding up.

Ship Size:
The ship size and type.

Registry:
The species registry of the ship. Some ships have a special registry or no registry. Select random for a random registry.

Crew Species:
The species of the crew. Select (random) for a random species of crew, and (registry) to have it match the registry of the ship, if appropriate. Selecting (mixed) means each profession will have a random species.

Crew Skills:
Determines whether the crew's skills will be all the same for Athletics, their respective Profession, and off Skills (easier for you to remember), or whether each profession gets a separate skill set (more varied).

Extra:
You can add a Phase Log, which gives you a grid for writing down the ship's speed, power, etc. over many phases, or a Counter Mat for tracking current values.

Ruleset:
Selects the ruleset to use. Galactic Civil War adds Whistlers and changes equipment kits.
