| 2007 Cheerleading Rules 1. Stay with one of your coaches or a parent before, during, and after any game. 2. Do not wear hair pins, barrettes, or jewelry (except studs). 3. If you wear nail polish or have your nails done, it must match your uniform and nails can be no longer than a centimeter long (fake or not). 4. Your hair needs to be pulled back out of your face and off your shoulders with a hairbow that matches your uniform. 5. Absolutely no gum, candy, or eating during games and practices unless its snack time after our half time show. 6. Use the bathroom during breaks, and before games and practices. 7. Parents, please be promt in picking your child up at every game and practice. 8. No cartwheels or splits for spirit. 9. You are not to approach a coach while cheering at a game or practice until break time or unless you have a serious emergency. 10. When a football player is injured on the field, do not take a knee like they are. You stop cheering and turn around to the field. 11. Never interrupt a cheerleader who is showing her spirit to call a cheer. If a cheer has been assigned to you to call, then wait until after the cheerleader/cheerleaders have finished showing their spirit. 12. You must attend every game and practice scheduled. If you will be absent, you must give a weeks notice to one of your coaches. 13. Most importantly, respect your teammates, coaches, and commissioner at all times. Bad behavior, breaking any rule, and unsportsmanshiplike conduct will not be tolerated and will result in a call to your parents and possible loss of participation.
