During the course of conversations with people online, I often get asked what the heck an ogmug is. Ogmug is the name of a character in a video game, called Everquest (now Everquest2). The original Ogmug was a rhyming ogre, who spoke in rhyme every minute of the day. It took a lot of mental power to always rhyme, believe me it was very very hard! When I moved on to Everquest 2, I quit trying to rhyme all the time, though I did make him a bard (it woudl take forever for me to explain the game, etc). Anywho... Ogmug was the name I settled on because the game would not let me use the word MUGWUMP. I just liked the word!

This weeks's picture I found in some pictures I had taken while driving through Yellowstone National Forest on the way back from Montana. I had stopped at a roadside rest stop, and walked down to a little stream about 100 yards from the road. On the way there I passed this dandelion, and was amazed at the size of the thing. It was the size of my fist! So I snapped a pic! |
