There's a quiet cityscape. A full moon, plenty of stars and twinkling windows. Then a glowing green scythe cuts through the picture, accompanied by a loud tearing sound...
Inside A Small Earth Bar:
Heero looks at his communicator as loud music plays in the background. He then walks over to a girl with short black hair, who is currently in the middle of a drinking contest with Wufei. "Cut it out. There's trouble."
They both turn to face Heero. The girl's face instantly becomes serious and Wufei listens attentively. They both respond simultaneously. "Trouble? What? Who?"
Heero gives them both his best You-Don't-Know-Who-It-Is-I-Think-You've-Had-Too-Much-To-Drink look. "Well, let's see... Duo and Shi were both very drunk. They went out to get more Sake-"
"But we're at a bar." Wufei pointed out, not understanding.
Heero turned to him and shrugged. "I don't quite get it either. Why don't you go ask them?" He then continued his explanation. "We-ell, they couldn't find a car so they decided to take the Deathscythe instead-" The girl's face fell, while Wufei's eyes suddenly got suddenly larger as they both realized the implications. "-and hooked up a karaoke machine to the Deathscythe's intercom system, so..."
By now, the girl's jaw was on the floor in horror and Wufei's eyes were as big as saucers. "S-s-so?"
Heero rolled his eyes as he pressed a button on the communicator. Two obviously drunken voices sang out. "-ust Wild Beat! Communicat-" Heero hit the button again and it fell silent.
He again resumed, though now addressing all of the pilots. "And did I mention that at this moment, the two idiots are tramping through a city... with a very heavy OZ presence?" The room went dead silent for a moment - then everyone bolted for their gundams. Heero sighed as he climbed into wing, muttering to himself, "Now there's TWO braided bakas to worry about... I'm gonna kill them both."
Inside the Gundam Deathscythe:
"-Sailor Venus! Sailor Mercury! Sailor Mars! Sailor Jupiter! With special powers all so new to her, she is the one called Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon!" Duo was sitting in the pilot's seat with the slightly more feminine pilot of the Gundam Deathlust sitting on his lap. Duo was running his fingers through Shi's hair, rebraiding it as they sang. There was some sort of curtain obscuring the main view screen.
Inside the Gundam Wing:
As Heero and the rest of the Gundam pilots crested the hill, he found himself disbelieving his own eyes. At least twenty-five Leos and maybe twenty Aries suits surrounded the Deathscythe. And even still, Duo's Gundam was staggering around in the center of them all. Heero absently thought that it looked like some Mobile Suit version of Duck-Duck-Goose.
And to make it even worse, Duo and Shi's voices were still being broadcast on every intercom channel. "-e're Dancin' with a Demon. While the city's dreamin'. Can't ya hear his laughter-" It looked like they had something over the main view screen. Heero wondered what on Earth they'd been thinking. Then, he realized that they hadn't been. And in all likelihood, still weren't.
Heero keyed the intercom to the other Gundam pilots, having to yell over Shi and Duo's singing. "First objective is to take out the OZ suits. It seems that Duo and Shi have them occupied and confused. We better take advantage of it while we can. After that, we'll worry about how to get them back to the safe house."
"Roger!" all the pilots replied in unison.
Out on the Battlefield:
Heero triggered a blast from his Buster Rifle, which engulfed three Aries as Wufei let flame spill from the dragon heads mounted on the Shenlon's arms. The flames surrounded a quintet of unlucky Leos, melting away their armor until they erupted in bright yellow spouts of excess energy. The girl, Shinoko, took aim with her variable Buster Rifle, and after setting it to three shot mode, fired. The shots hit two Leos and one Aries in the back, cutting through the armor and its delicate electronic internals. Trowa's main gun let out a stream of high velocity ballistics, eating through metal until the target MS erupted in a brilliant fireball. Quatre charged at a Leo, but now the element of surprise was lost. Now they knew they were there.
Inside the Cockpit of the Gundam Deathscythe:
They were still singing. "-We stop, we start, we fight it, but we lose. It's always so confusing!" And they weren't only singing; Duo and Shi were acting it out as well. They turned away from each other, and then turned back to face one another. After that they started mock fighting, then Duo wrapped his arms around the other boy as kissed him firmly on the lips. Shi looked not only confused, but quite surprised. So much, in fact, that he forgot about the song.
"Say, Shi-kun... are you a boy or a girl Anyway?" Duo asked, as a dark glint shone brightly in his violet eyes.
"Eh?" Shi seemed to be very taken aback by the question.
Duo smirked. "Well, I guess there's only one way to find out..." He quickly flipped Shi so that his back was pressed into the pilot's seat with Duo on top of him. Duo wrapped Shi's braid twice around his hand and pulled, causing the boy to arch his back beneath him. Duo then grabbed at Shi's shirt and ripped, just as the comm screen clicked on, only to be attacked by a barrage of buttons. "Well, you look male enough. I wonder if you taste it too?" Shi let out a strangled gasp that was abruptly cut short as Duo's mouth covered his, taking him in a very passionate kiss. Duo clasped the hand holding the braid to the small of Shi's back as he let his other hand trace circles on the effeminate boy's sides. Shi broke the kiss, tossing his head back and letting out a sharp gasp. Duo grabbed Shi's chin, letting his tongue search into the hidden depths of his mouth.
Inside the Cockpit of the Gundam Wing:
After he took out the cluster of Aries with his Buster Rifle, Heero tried to raise the Deathscythe on the Comm. The music was still blasting, but they were no longer singing. <<Maybe I can at least talk them into moving out of the way...>> When the image first popped up, all he'd been able to see were small objects hitting the screen and then falling to the ground. Then he'd seen the inside of the cockpit. The way that Duo had Shi pinned into the seat, how Duo was softly licking his lips, as well as the lust and emotional high that was shining in his eyes. He'd seen it before, and had identified it in mere seconds. Sadist. The look that glinted out from those violet orbs was one who took pleasure from other's pain, fear, and helplessness. And there wasn't a question in his mind as to whether Duo was enjoying Shi's responses to the slight pain that he was lavishing him with. It was as obvious to him as the reason behind the look in his eyes had been. Then his comm clicked on and Shinoko's face appeared. "Ignore Shi and Duo, we can deal with them after the fight." She said in an even tone as the screen went back to the cockpit of the Deathscythe. Heero sighed. <<She's right. I'll deal with them afterwards.>>
Back on the Battlefield:
Quatre's charge followed through nicely, as he sliced the Leo clean in half at the waist. As the four Gundams advanced spewing deadly energy and ballistics, flying bullets and dancing explosions surrounded them. Wing remained on the crest of the hill, unmoving, as the Mobile Suit circle around Deathscythe rapidly expanded to try and deal with the new threats. Shinoko's Gundam jumped over to the wavering Gundam at the center of the fray, pulling her sword off of her back and swinging it in a full-sized diagonal arc that cut through two Leos. They flared around the two Gundams in a massive release of excess energy.
She brought the blade in to her side for a moment, then as it began to glow with thermal energy she thrust it up through the engine of an Aries suit, the large blade puncturing the cockpit just as the suit exploded. A few moments later Wing jumped back into the fray, brandishing one of its beam sabers.
By this point Heavyarms had used up all the ammo for both its main and chest-mounted ones, and Trowa was now fighting with his saber, nearly back to back with Quatre. Shinoko was alternating between her buster rifle and sword, while Wufei was wreaking havoc with his staff. A mere minute later and only four Aries suits were left, which Heero and Shinoko quickly took out with their Buster Rifles.
Inside the Cockpit of the Gundam Wing:
Heero wasn't exactly sure what to do. He sighed and decided that he should at least try and talk with them on the comm before he did anything drastic. As he did so, he mentally prepared himself for the worst. When Duo and Shi's faces popped up on the view screen, he was pleasantly surprised. They were both fully dressed, (although they were both wearing the other's shirt, and Shi's shirt was missing all of its buttons, but Heero really didn't feel like analyzing that)
Duo started talking the second the comm clicked on. "Hey, Heero-kun... Fancy seeing you here! Me and Shi-kun, umm... well, uh... We kind of got lost while we were looking for a liquor store... And-"
Heero cut him off abruptly. "Never mind that. Are you sober enough to pilot the Deathscythe home?"
Duo rolled his eyes. "You betcha man! But, I'll have to stop back at the bar so that Shi can pick up the Deathlust."
"No you won't." Heero said firmly.
Duo started to interrupt, "Whadaya-"
But Heero continued with what he'd been saying without missing a beat. "Because Shi is going to be coming with me. And don't argue Duo."
Duo was about to complain, but he noted that Heero was in a very no-nonsense mood and he didn't want to risk having Heero scratch the paint. Especially after Howard had just finished the new paint job earlier that week. "Alright, fine. Just don't hurt him, okay?"
Heero shook his head, having to bite back his comment of 'What, that's your job?' and simply rolled his eyes at the other pilot. "Of course I'm not going to hurt him!"
Duo shrugged. "Just making sure. You can never be too sure though, ya know?"
"I know. Now will you hurry up? We all have to be gone before reinforcements arrive." Duo rolled his eyes as he reached to shut off the comm. A minute wasted as Duo's fingers tangled in long hair darker than his own, a shade that would have been black if not for the brilliant red that were strung liberally throughout the silky hair, taking the boy's lips in another harsh kiss. "Mine," he murmured. Kissing him until the boy nodded in agreement. "Say it..." He whispered in his ear, pulling down the tall collar of the shirt and biting his teeth into that pale delicate flesh as the words 'yours' were softly said on a hollow gasp.
Then moments later the center walkway extended from the center of the Deathscythe's chest, and then Shi walked out onto it looking flustered. Heero walked his Gundam over until he though it was close enough for Shi to get across. Then, extending the walkway on his side, he walked out to the edge. Shi was looking at him with an almost exasperated look. He then had the thought that maybe he should have stopped a bit closer. The two gundams were just under five meters apart, which was daunting at first glance.
Then Shi shrugged and jumped across-straight into Heero. He managed to catch him and then save them both from falling off of the narrow platform. Moments later, they'd both disappeared into the cockpit, getting situated with Shi between Heero's legs so that they could both sit comfortably. And then the Gundam Wing took off towards the bar.
