descriptions are for the Communications Department, which is represented
by the color red. The positions of the Communications Department
include:
Chief
Communications Officer Communications
is a vital part of each and every starship and starbase. The
Communications Officer monitors any and all transmissions aboard ship,
as well as externally. The Communications Officer is an
experienced linguist, proficient in many different
languages. The
Chief Communications Officer is responsible for all of the personnel in
his or her department. The Chief Communications Officer
reports to the CO and XO. Assistant
Chief Communications Officer Communications
is a vital part of each and every starship and starbase. The
Communications Officer monitors any and all transmissions aboard ship,
as well as externally. The Communications Officer is an
experienced linguist, proficient in many different
languages. The
Assistant Chief Communications Officer is capable to take over for the
Chief Communications Officer on a temporary or permanent basis if so
