Race Name: Human (plural: Humans)
HISTORY & CULTURE: Human history up until first contact with the Vulcans in 2063 was concerned chiefly with the influence of nationalism or the exploitation of the planet's resources by one group or another. In fact, most wars were fought because of these reasons. The contact with the Vulcans, a mere 10 years after the end of World War III began to change that. Nations began to see that the struggle over resources was the root cause of conflict, and that it had almost destroyed the human race. With this in mind, humanity began to reform their society as they advanced technologically, to the point that poverty soon became a thing of the past. Under the command of Capt. Johnathon Archer, the first major human interstellar mission helped cement ties between Vulcan and Earth, led to the discovery and defeat of the potential Xindi threat to Earth, and led to the informal working arrangement of the Vulcans, humans, Andorians, and Tellarites that would eventually form the United Federation of Planets. As members of the Federation, humans combine the logical thought of the Vulcans with the honor of the Andorians, and the stubbornness of the Tellarites. It is the combination of these traits that make humanity such an influential force in galactic politics.
BIOLOGY:
About the biggest thing that can be said about humans is that they are extremely
durable, despite having what the Borg consider minimal redundant or regenerative
capacity. Despite this, humans can live in almost any climate, and they can cross-breed
with most of the races in the known galaxy...making them extremely resilient as a
species.

Humans tend to be fairly easy to roleplay, and they generally can be anything
that a player might come up with.
The majority of the characters on the USS Cerberus have been human.
