HISTORY & CULTURE:

Not much is known about Deltan history or culture. They were admitted to the Federation in 2223 when they achieved warp capability.

SEYANN & CINERA

Seyann and Cinera are both moons of Delta IV, and because of the phermones emitted by Deltans, offworld humanoids are restricted to these locations.

BIOLOGY:

Deltans are virtually identical to humans. The most notable outward difference is that Deltans are bald.

The Deltan sexual drive is very developed. In fact, the bodies of Deltans emit phermones that act as an aphrodisiac to other Deltans. To off-world humanoids, the effect is much more profound, and as a result, Deltans serving offworld often take measures to reduce the emission of phermones. In Starfleet, Deltans are required to take an oath of celibacy.

GM NOTES:

Because of their physiology, Deltans tend to be highly emotional. This can be dangerous in situations involving high levels of fear, sadness, etc as part of the Deltan control over the various phermones comes from a certain amount of control over their emotions.

As of yet, there have been no Deltans aboard the USS Cerberus in a major role.
