Icecream! I exclaim as I trot ahead of mommy in the park. Icecream!
Icecream! I smile widely as I think of the cold chocolate scoop with brightly colored rainbow sprinkles covering the top of it.
Yes Danny, were going to get icecream.
My mommys voice seems soft and I stop and turn to make sure that shes still behind me. Seeing that shes still there I turn back around and continue skipping through the park. Icecream! Icecream! Different colors start to pass by me and I freeze in place, staring at the little flowers that cover the ground. Squating down I start to pick up some of the tinny white ones and bigger yellow ones. Fwowers! I say excitedly, standing up and presenting my treasures to my mommy.
Theyre beautiful Danny.
Fow you! I step forward and put my fist as high up as I can. My mommy smiles down at me and she takes the flowers from my hand. Thank you Danny. How nice. Butyoure hands dirty now. She doesnt look very happy and so I hurridly whipe my hand on my overalls.
No dwity! I exclaim, grinning as I hold my pollished hand up for inspection. My mommy sighs but smiles and nods. I turn around and run ahead again.
Around the next turn I see a little blue kid about my size. Hewo! I say pollitly, like my mommy taught me. Whats youw name? Im Danny!
Mokie, he says, reaching hes hand out to mine when hes startled back a couple of feet when we hear my mommy start to scream. Danny! I turn around and am suddenly picked up by my mommy. I look down and see the little blue kid coming towards us, still grinning, reaching his hand up to me. I try turn around all the way to smile at him and also try to get down from my mommys arms but shes holding me too tight.
Mommy! I whine, but I dont think that she hears me over her screaming.
Suddenly somebody bursts through a bushs and stops, staring at me and my mommy and then at the little blue kid.
Stop it! He exclaims.
The little kid suddenly stops and backs away from us. The guy must be his older brother or something. I dont have a brother so I stare at him trying to see exactly how Mokie and him look alike. I cant find anything. For one, he isnt blue. I see him turn to me and my mommy and then he jerks his head in a dirrection and my mommy starts to run that way.
Mokie! I exclaim over my mommys shoulder, holding my hand out to my new blue friend.
