Dear Madame or Sir,
I do indeed have a definite amount in mind for the Antique Zebra Lamp. Nonetheless, if you are TRULY interested please Do "make a serious offer". The lamp has that pretty crackling in the paint. The plug is the old type non-polarized. I believe the lamp dates to the 1940's. lamp height: just under 32inches with shade(shade adds approx. .75inches over finial) lamp weight: approx. 11 lbs. with shade zebra figure length: approx. 8.75inches zebra figure height: approx. 11.25inches lamp shade: (approx. 13.75 high x 10.75 deep x 16 wide) condition The lamp looks quite beautiful to me. It has a metal frame and the shade has an inner silk? lining just like a well made coat. The outer portion of the lamp shade is in the easily recognizable zebra pattern. At some of the bottom edges of the lamp shade corners the inner silk? lining is separating and there are some brown colored streaks affecting only the silk? lining, mostly near the areas over the metal framing. There is one place located on the zebra's neck that I believe may be a painted over chipped or paint loss area. The lamp is on in the photo. ------------------- classified ad text ------------------- Antique Zebra Lamp 1940's Rare posted 07/17/2006 antique zebra lamp 1940's era. Works fine. Extraordinary find.
