| Little girls, little boys Running, jumping, making noise. Playing in puddles, Baking mud pies, The smiles, the giggles The wonder in their eyes. Each child is special In their own way Their talent will payoff In their work one day. Hug them and kiss them Tickle their bellies Bring laughter to their faces As you give them wet willies. Teach them to love Teach them to care Be sure to let them know That life isn't always fair. As you put them to bed At the end of the day Tuck them in tight Chase the monsters away Read them a story Settle their fright Tell them you love them And whisper goodnight.
