Steven Taylor None that I know of! 25 Norwich Instrument Technician/Electrician for an oil & gas company in the offshore industry. Also director of Taylor-Barnes Services Ltd. 93 BriSCA Formula 1 Bradford May 5th 1997 I started racing because my grandfather Tony Wicks (93) used to race F1's in the 60's, I started to spectate when I was 9 years old and couldn't wait to have a go. As a present for my 20th birthday I had a drive in a Ken Hopes Hire Car and it all started there. I don't really have one but I do admire the drivers who race for fun more than the serious race winners. Kings Lynn is a favourite because it is a smooth and fast track and is also close to home, also Skegness because it's one of the few tracks I seem to do well at. It's got to be Formula 1, there is no other formula that even comes close to being as good I don't think I will answer this one, I don't want to get into trouble do I! My least favourite track is any tarmac track. Tarmac racing died in the early 90's as far as I am concerned, it's just not the same any more. Many people will hate me for this but it's Banger Racing. I have nothing against it but I feel it gives F1 racing a bad name Skegness Semi-Final in 1999. Surprisingly I qualified for the semi and I have never been so nervous in a race before, I got put out of the race just before half way but at least I made it that far Any race that I end up in the fence (and that's quite a few) I can't remember any single moment because there have been quite a few My Grandfather A red roof would be nice or the occasional race win, that's not too much to ask for is it? Thanks to Taylor-Barnes Services Ltd, Tig-Art Racing Fabrication, Malcolm and Mum who are at every meeting to support me and help out, Paul & Tim from Tig-Art who built my current chassis and repair it for me when I bend it. John Lawn (441) and crew who help me out whenever they can. |
