No printable nicknames
40 (They tell me my life has just begun!)
Letham, Angus, Scotland
I am a lecturer in Motor Vehicle Studies at a local college

Was 175 & now 255 (the number I really wanted to start with)
Superstox (79-82), F2's (83-94), F1's (95-Current)
Mechanics race 1977 Cowdenbeath.  As a registered driver, March 1979, also at Cowdenbeath
My dad had raced Stock Cars since 1971 and I was desperate to get behind the wheel?  I probably thought hoardes of Glamorous Women would fancy a "Racing Driver", ah well, so much for thought!

This changes weekly, I like to meet drivers at all levels and just talk about common issues and experiences
It has to be Coventry, the place just has a good feel and atmosphere
Since I saw them in the Eighties - F1.  On a good night there is nothing I have seen or heard in any form of motorsport which makes me tremble with excitement like they do.

This also changes weekly!
Buxton, even us Scots don't have tracks in the mountains!
I think there are too many Formulas, this only robs Peter to save Paul

Give me a break, now that I'm 40, I can't remember what happened last week!
Probably the time I crashed on the last bend whilst in the lead of the meeting final by a sizable margin.  It would have been my first ever win!
It wasn't really a moment, but it was quite funny back in 1983 when a lot of people thought we had lots of money, and that was why the car was so quick.  If they only knew the truth, I was a mechanic, Dad an HGV mechanic, Mum a jute weaver and Lorna my wife to be, a trainee nurse, and no long lost relatives with fortunes for us to inherit
My Dad has been a major influence in many ways, he's retired now and tends to take it very easy, not like his enthusiasm 20 years ago.
Currently to win an F1 Final (with enhanced prize money of course) and to play some wicked blues guitar licks
