Wolf Speaker is the 2nd (and my personal favorite) book in the Imortals Quartet.
Daine receives an urgent call for help from a pack of wolves she befriended after her home was destroyed in Galla. Humans have been cutting down trees and digging holes in the beautiful Dunlath Valley. The wolves are upset because this is posing a treat to their survival. Daine tries to speak to the rulers of Dunlath, but they ignore her. She senses that something nasty's going on behind the scenes. She's also trying to get the knack of changing into an animal, which is easier said than done. She discovers that the rulers of Dunlath are planning to rebel against the king, w/ Carthaki backing!!! This isn't good. Now it's up to Daine & her friends to save the day yet again! |
