The Realms of the Gods is the final installment of the Immortals Quartet.
Tortall is engaged in a fierce war between imortals, renegade Carthakis, Scanrans, & Copper Islanders. Daine & Numair are busy fighting strange an unusual foes. They are faced w/ certain death when they are suddenly swept into the Realms of the Gods by Daine's parents. Daine learns the identity of her father, something that had been a mystery her whole life. But as much as she'd like to visit w/ her parents, she & Numair are needed to save Tortall. The Gods themselves are engaged in war w/ the Queen of Chaos, therefore there is only one way for Daine & Numair to return home. They undergo the dangerous journey to Dragonlands, in hopes the dragons will take them back to their war-torn home. |
